I grew up on a wide farm in the arid Bushmanland near Granaatboskolk in the Northern Cape.
Our lifestyle was “sustainable” by necessity to survive.
I worked at mines across the country. My time on the mines (SANAS and ISO responsibilities) gave me extensive insight into the importance for ecological/environmental rehabilitation.
After I retired, I assisted with the GST project with Dr Niël du Toit and Prof Eon Smit.
The possible statistical validation of the audit questionnaire, as our sample grows bigger, is of great interest to me.

 Prof Eon Smit: Research Adviser
D.Comm (US)
Former Director University Stellenbosch,
