KARIN BURGER
Assessor
Born and bred in Stellenbosch, with the green rugby fields of Coetzenburg as my playground. It has always been and continues to be a great privilege to call this historic town my home. Stellenbosch has taught me that conservation and preservation are fundamental principles upon which we should build.
For the past twelve years, I have been involved with a sensory panel at the Department of Food Science at Stellenbosch University. In this role, we have conducted evaluations and assessments of products for various companies. This experience has taught me a great deal about interaction with product and people.
I greatly value social interactions with friends, as well as spending my free time reading and playing bowls.
